GBE worked with Medtronic MiniMed to design the MEP systems for their new 500,000 sf headquarters facility, which includes executive offices, R&D and QA testing laboratories, Class 100,000 and 10,000 manufacturing areas, warehouses, support areas and offices. The new facility is used to manufacture insulin products for the treatment of diabetes (MiniMed’s core business) and their new sensor product. The facility was built in record time and below the standard budget for laboratories in this area, and GBE continues to be the on-call engineer for this facility.
