Returning to the W Hotel, Gotama Building Engineers was hired to perform the MEP renovation for the Bliss Spa, a luxurious day spa and fitness center within the hotel. The 7,000 sq. ft. facility features ten individual treatment rooms, steam showers, sauna, a facial quick-wax room, manicure stations with individual flat screens for movies, luxurious men's and women's lounges, an in-spa store, and their legendary brownie buffet.

Each treatment room has an individual thermostat to adjust to the treatment provided and the comfort of the client. New piping, water meters and a new 80 gallon high-recovery commercial water heater were designed for dedicated supply separate from the main hotel. The exhaust fan discharge that was located on the east side of building had to be relocated so as to exhaust onto the low roof. Magnetic door holds were installed to open the main door to the corridor. On the outside deck, Sunpack linear gas heaters were installed for the comfort of guests during cooler weather or evening gatherings.
