Hilton Hotel

Gotama Building Engineers was engaged to update and renovate the building systems for all public areas and commons spaces in the hotel, including the lobby, restrooms, and outdoor pool dining area for the Hilton Hotel in Costa Mesa.

Working with the architects to create a mood and enhancement to the facilities, lighting and additional plumbing were required to supply power to wall-mounted lights and sconces in addition to tree lighting for evening entertaining poolside, electrical power for outdoor signage, exterior showers near the pool for guests to rinse off, a storm drain offset around the outside of the pool and new fixtures for the redesigned restrooms. In establishing the new systems for the outdoor areas, the gas line to the equipment for the spa and pool were separately metered and made independent of the indoor utilities, allowing for better control by management. With these changes, the hotel was able to maximize their guest services from the interior of the hotel to the outdoors, and from morning through evening.
