To rejuvenate the prominent Century Plaza Hotel, the team undertook a complete renovation of over 185,000 sf of public spaces including the entrance lobby, retail spaces, spa and fitness areas, the restaurant, offices, support spaces and outdoor areas. The construction was completed with an aggressive schedule while the Hotel remained in full operation. After successfully completing the MEP renovation design, GBE worked with five separate contractors simultaneously to minimize construction time and then assisted in commission the MEP systems.
