Our challenge as a team in designing the renovation and addition to the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center was to achieve an identical image for both the addition and the existing building, originally a high school auditorium, while providing the patrons with natural and clear guidelines on the flow of the combined facility. The addition includes a new entrance lobby with office box, patrons' wall, concessions, support offices, public restrooms, outdoor gathering patio and landscape and parking upgrades.
