A major transit hub located at the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley, the new Amtrak Station provides train, bus and truck connections between the northern and southern parts of the state. The design for the new station includes high efficiency glass and HVAC systems to provide a combination of open space and energy efficiency, including energy recovery from exhaust air to precondition incoming ventilation air.
